The Moon, a Poem by Tristan

We were driving to daycare this morning and Tristan recited this poem to me:

---

Moon! MOON!
Pear.

---

Here is my translation of his poem:

I see the moon.
The moon!
It looks like a pear
in the sky
as we drive by.

Wow ... I see a bright future for Tristan. Robert Frost, watch out! Maybe Tristan will be able to write the monologs to Julius' public service announcements.

I scrolled back to find this. I'm a night sky watcher and this poem has stayed in mind. I truly love it and said it to the moon last night!

Maybe it's that hidden talent of his that will come forth as he gets older. I think it would be really cool to have a poet in the family!
