Oh Dear

For many years we have been resisting introducing Julius to too much technology. It was hard to resist when I would hear stories of precocious two year olds who can set the time on the VCR or order pink Cadillacs for their moms on eBay and other amusing tales. In comparison, we're downright backwards here at our house.

However, we finally have started letting Julius play kid-safe video games and now that he's gotten the hang of it I think we've lost our TV. Here is Tristan helping out by pointing to the TV and screaming, "GUY! GUY! GUY!"

Uh oh ... you've lost him now ... HAHAHA. But you really didn't expect to keep him from the games forever, did you? YOU love the games too! Besides, he's be technologically challenged if you didn't allow him SOME video game time.

It's hard when the kids eat into my OWN video gaming time. Good grief! Yeah, I am the great oppressor. Well, it's gotta be something they talk about in therapy. Better this than being traumatized by more embarrassing stuff like Mom walking around in her underwear. (er, moms in general, not that *I* do that, of course!)

LOL! I'm one of those moms with the stories of hte computer savvy little one. The stories I could tell.. LOL! We try to limit but you know how the kids can be.

In case you haven't figured it out--- it's extremely hard to keep our kids from things we so relish ourselves!! For example, I am the proud Mom of a two-year-old TV addict. She'd like a working cellphone of her own. But, I'm drawing the line, by Geo!
